We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a forward-thinking and dynamic organisation based in Oxfordshire. In this role, you will be supporting the contracts accountant with financial transactions and processes in an accurate and detailed manner.
Daily responsibilities will include:
Daily receipting and posting of bank transactions
Administering petty cash and preparing monthly reconciliations
Recording all expenditure contracts and creating finance reporting
Liaising with the team and suppliers to resolve any billing issues
Assisting with other financial tasks as required
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar accounts function, and it is essential that you are a proficient user of Sage Accounting and have strong Excel skills. High accuracy and a strong attention to detail are very important and you will be proactive in taking ownership of tasks. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to pick up new skills quickly.
