We have registered a great opportunity for a Finance Assistant based in Oxford starting initially as a temporary member of staff with the opportunity for the right candidate to become permanent. In this role, you will be supporting the Finance Manager with a range of financial tasks, daily responsibilities include:
Processing sales and purchase ledger
Preparing basic Management Accounts and provide analysis for monthly meetings
Regular financial reporting
Basic vat returns
Ad hoc finance tasks in support of the wider team
To be successful in this role you will ideally have completed your AAT qualifications or equivalent, and you will likely have experience of VAT returns. You will be a fast learner, with excellent IT skills, in particular Excel including pivot tables for cost reporting. You will be an excellent communicator, and a self-starter, with the ability to manage your own workload.
