Our clients are repeatedly looking for proactive and professional individuals to join their payroll teams. If you are a payroll administrator looking for the next step we may be able to help you find that perfect new job.
As a Payroll Administrator it will be your responsibility to deliver the smooth running of payroll processes, liaising with staff and external contacts and suppliers. You may be working as part of a team either within Finance or HR, taking on enhanced responsibility for the completion of payroll duties under the direction of your Manager.
Key responsibilities may include:
First line payroll support for the payroll team
Processing starters and leavers on the payroll system
Expense claims and company car administration
Liaise with other departments including Finance and HR
Ensure HR and Payroll data is up to date
As we work with a range of company sizes you must be comfortable working in busy environments as well as working independently as part of a small team. You will have excellent time management skills and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will have an exceptional attention to detail and will be confident working accurately and within set deadlines.
You will be IT literate in Word and Excel and ideally be working towards qualifications in the accounting or HR sector.
