We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Finance Assistant to join a sociable and close-knit team in Oxfordshire on a temporary basis. This will be an excellent opportunity to continue your career in finance and gain some fantastic exposure within an interesting field.
This role will be to start on 24th July and ongoing for 2 – 3 months initially, although there is potential for this to be extended longer for the ideal candidate!
Your main duties will include:
Dealing with daily reconciliation of bank statements
Preparing the monthly balance sheet
Reporting and tracking profits and losses within the company
Liaising with members of other teams to gather important financial information
Providing general administrative support as required
You will a proven finance candidate with excellent organisation and time management skills.
Previous experience within an administration role will be highly advantageous in this role.
The ability to prioritise tasks effectively in order to ensure that they meet tight time deadlines is very important to our client.
Working competence with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, and some Word) will allow you to perform tasks with ease.
You will be able to communicate with people on all levels both orally and in your written communication. You must also be able to provide excellent customer service when dealing with external clients over the phone.
