A leading independent recruitment agency in Oxfordshire has been awarded Gold status from Investors in People
for a second time, putting Allen Associates
in the top 7 per cent of accredited businesses throughout the UK.
The company has held an Investors in People (IIP) award since 2001. To become recognised as achieving the ‘Gold standard’ in organisational performance through its people, the company was benchmarked and measured against 196 criteria.
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Allen Associates, Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. Allen Associates should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
Kate Allen, Managing Director at Allen Associates
, said: “We are thrilled to be recognised as ‘best in class’ when it comes to supporting and developing our people.
“Our people work in a highly competitive and equally demanding industry. To receive this accreditation is recognition for their hard work and commitment to the work they do as much as it is about the support the business itself continues to provide.
“We have been committed to supporting and developing our people ever since the business was started almost 20 years ago, and each year we have striven to achieve the high standards set by Investors in People.
“Our people have benefitted from this and so too has the business – it really does pay to make your people feel valued, appreciated and important influencers in the future direction of the business.”
Established in 1998, Allen Associates specialises in providing HR, Marketing and Sales, Finance, PA/Administration, and Temporary staffing solutions for employers throughout Oxfordshire. Since then, the company has grown to become a leading independent recruitment company in the region and has plans to continue its growth further.
“The company has seen strong growth in recent years and it is no coincidence that many of our consultants have been with us for 5, 10 or more years – something that is exceptionally rare for our industry.
“But this is largely down to the great training and on-going support that has earned us the Gold accreditation for a second time. The challenge now is ensuring we retain these high standards moving forward; it’s a good challenge to have.”
