We have registered a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join this well-established organisation, based in East Oxford. Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include managing the finance team, preparing and monitoring budgets, financial reporting and liaising with senior stakeholders across the company.
Finance Manager Responsibilities
As the Finance Manager some of your duties will include:
- Conducting data analysis and producing weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
- Managing payroll processes
- Producing financial budgets
- Reconciling accounts
- Providing financial advice to staff members and trustees
- Preparing for, and supporting internal and external audit activities
Finance Manager Experience
The Finance Manager will have previous experience as a Finance Manager or in a senior-level finance role. The ideal candidate will likely be fully or part qualified (CIMA/AACA/ACA/AAT), with experience managing payroll processes and producing financial reports. Your financial acumen and creative approach to problem-solving will be of huge benefit to your new colleagues and you will build relationships which promote trust, confidence and respect.
It’s essential you are a strong user of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel and be familiar with finance systems. PS Financials knowledge would be a huge bonus, but you will at least have worked with a variety of finance software and are able to get up to speed with new accounting systems.
