We have a great opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a collaborative and busy team within a local, long-standing charity. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their transactional finance processes, as well as assisting with budgeting/reporting and supporting payroll tasks. Along with the other members of the finance team, you will be providing a high level of service to all internal/external financial stakeholders.
Finance Assistant Responsibilities
As the Finance Assistant, your duties will include:
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Entering invoices onto the finance system
- Dealing with queries from suppliers
- Supporting with the administration of payroll tasks
- Assisting with financial planning and budgeting
Finance Assistant Experience
To be successful in this role you will be a finance professional who has been in a similar role or perhaps a recent graduate with some office/accounts experience who has worked in a busy and challenging office-based role previously. Ideally you will have dealt with some aspects of the following tasks: purchase ledger, sales ledger, journal posting, cash counting expenses, payroll and month end reporting. You will be confident and personable and enjoy working in a vibrant and collaborative team.
