We have a brand-new opportunity for you to join a Head Office team based in Summertown as this organisation’s very first dedicated HR Manager.
A brand-new role, you will take sole responsibility for the HR function across several sites within Oxfordshire. The organisation is growing rapidly, therefore you will develop an ambitious HR and Recruitment strategy, act as a true HR partner to the business and take responsibility for the daily HR operations.
HR Manager Responsibilities
As the HR Manager some of your duties will include:
- Developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- HR Project work
- Creating a recruitment strategy whilst coordinating the day to day recruitment
- Managing the onboarding process
- Taking ownership of complex employee-relations cases
HR Manager Experience
The HR Manager will ideally have previous experience working within an educational establishment (or similar), with experience managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle. As the HR Manager, you will be a flexible and organised individual, who can work collaboratively with staff members at all levels. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a good understanding of employment law, HR best practice and GDPR.
