Part-Time Learning and Development Lead
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development professional to join a well-known and highly regarded local charity on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave, on a part-time basis. Working closely with one other L&D Advisor, some of your duties will include managing the Apprenticeship scheme, training needs analysis, running and developing the management development programme and corporate inductions. This is a brilliant opportunity for you to collaborate with line managers internally and be as creative as possible within your own role!
Part-Time Learning and Development Lead Responsibilities
As the Learning and Development lead some of your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying staff training and development needs
- Collaborating with managers and the HR team to identify learning needs
- Managing and developing corporate inductions
- Overseeing the apprenticeship scheme
- Taking overall responsibility for the annual management development programme
- Analysing training needs
Part-Time Learning and Development Lead Experience
The Learning and Development Advisor will be an experienced Learning and Development professional, with an understanding of designing and delivering training programmes (mainly soft skills as opposed to technical training). It is essential that you are an approachable individual, with experience of coaching managers and employees at a variety of levels. Experience within the retail or not-for-profit sectors would be beneficial, however, this is not essential.
