Head of HR
We have an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our client as their very first Head of HR permanently. Working closely with the Head of Operations and COO, you will lead a small HR team (HR Manager and HR/Training Assistant), whilst working closely with a HR Assistant based in Germany.
Strategic HR input is now needed to take them further on their growth. As the Head of HR, you will drive forward the talent and HR strategy, focusing on key areas such as retention, compensation and benefits and performance. You will successfully deliver several companywide change programmes, to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders across the board.
Head of HR Responsibilities
As the Head of HR your main duties will include:
- Leading on the development and implementation of progressive HR and Talent Management strategies
- Overseeing and managing recruitment for the organisation
- Conveying key strategy points to staff
- Ensuring that the organisation is compliant with UK Employment Law
- Coaching and developing line managers and the Executive Team
Head of HR Experience
As the Head of HR, you must have previous experience in a generalist HR management position, with demonstrable experience managing teams. You will be able to deliver operational and strategic HR goals and be a confident role model and motivator for your team. Outstanding communication skills will be vital in this position with a creative, solutions-based mind-set. You will be CIPD 7 qualified and if you have experience in a growing SME or consultancy environment this would be beneficial.
