Project Officer

Are you looking to take your next step in a project based role? If so, we have an opportunity to join an inspiring organisation based in Oxford. Working through a diverse portfolio that ranges from researching and supporting the development of new funding proposals to liaising with donors and key stakeholders, you will assist with the delivery of project work plans and timelines.

Project Officer Responsibilities

As the Project Officer, some of your main duties will include:

  • Providing dedicated administration support for several projects
  • Developing funding proposals
  • Working closely with project managers to ensure that deadlines are met

Project Officer Experience

It is essential that you have experience or an interest in working within the charitable sector, and a background working within projects would be beneficial. You must be confident working to tight deadlines and able to remain calm when under pressure. You will be numerically confident and a good user of MS Office, particularly Excel. A high attention to detail, strong communication skills and proof-reading ability will be the key to success in this position.
