Temporary Call Handler
Are you an experienced customer service professional with a background in phone-based support? We are seeking those with a CV demonstrating call centre experience (or similar) to work in an immediate temporary assignment, based in offices outside East Oxford.
You’ll need to have a car to get there (or live close by) and you’ll take pride in providing a superb telephone service to customers.
This role is full-time to work 5 days per week. Please note, this does include weekend work, please do bear this in mind when applying.
You will need to be free immediately and be happy to work from the office every day.
Temporary Call Handler Responsibilities
- Liaising with existing customers
- Providing advice and support
- Updating customer database
- Answering queries via email
- Making outbound calls
Temporary Call Handler Requirements
It is essential that your CV outlines experience within a phone based position, in a busy commercial setting.
You will have previously dealt with customers in a high volume phone-based capacity.
Those with experience in a call centre or similar would be perfect applicants for the role. You must be comfortable with a large volume of outbound calls.
You will be a fast learner and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
A polite and friendly approach is paramount, and you must be sympathetic to those who may be facing a difficult situation at present.
Candidates must be strong users of MS Office. Experience of Salesforce would be a huge advantage.

Our client is based in modern offices in East Oxford (OX4). There is parking available nearby.
As the role is starting immediately, you must be currently based in Oxfordshire (or within a reasonable commute from the office).

Our client is based within modern offices and operates within a regulated industry. On this basis, the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS and credit checks.
This will be an office based role, working full time, and with some weekend commitments.
It will not be possible to work remotely, or on a part time basis. The weekend work is also essential.
