We often recruit for temporary receptionist roles in the Oxfordshire area and are looking for professional, hardworking candidates to provide crucial front office support. We are looking for candidates with previous receptionist experience or candidates who are used to working in a similar fast-paced, customer focused environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, a team player and be happy to muck in wherever needed.

Responsibilities could include but will not be limited to:

  • Operating the switchboard
  • Greeting visitors
  • Handling queries
  • Booking travel arrangements
  • Writing, typing
  • Stock ordering

Job Requirements

To be successful in a receptionist role, you will be committed to providing first class customer service, and be proficient and helpful at all times. Due to the diverse nature of receptionist roles, you will be able to remain calm and collected at all times, whilst prioritising a demanding workload. You will come across as friendly, welcoming and have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure customer service is paramount at all times. You will have a welcoming and positive manner, and possess excellent interpersonal skills including a telephone manner and a proficient communicator.


You will be joining a friendly and welcoming team who will work with you to ensure the smooth running of the office. Holiday pay is offered alongside the competitive hourly rate.
