Part-Time Finance Assistant
We have registered this lovely, newly created vacancy, working for an inclusive local charity in a Finance Assistant capacity. The role is part time across 22.5 hours per week, or 60% of the full time. The role can either be on a permanent basis, or a six-month contract, depending on your preference. The Finance team are busy and require support to help with a variety of financial tasks. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be working alongside two Finance Officers.
Finance Assistant Responsibilities
As the Finance Assistant some of your main duties will include:
- Reconciling accounts
- Monthly management accounts
- Accurate double-entry bookkeeping
- Providing administrative support to the Finance team
Finance Assistant Experience
To be successful in this role, you will either demonstrate previous accounts and double book-keeping experience or be a recent accountancy graduate (or equivalent) with a strong administrative background and a desire to learn and develop within a finance position. Most important is your positive outlook and hardworking attitude. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate strong communication and time management skills along with the ability to manage your workload. You will be able to prioritise their work, react quickly and decisively, develop good relationships with internal stakeholders and be a good team player.
