Accounts Assistant Responsibilities

As the Accounts Assistant some of your main duties will include:

  • Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
  • Being the first point of contact for all queries
  • Managing credit control
  • Reporting
  • Scheduling invoices
  • General administration support to the finance function as required.

Accounts Assistant Experience

The ideal candidate will have in depth accounts experience relating to purchase ledgers and VAT, an AAT qualification is desirable however not essential. Most importantly, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a strong team player and able to problem solve and work towards deadlines. A background in construction or a similar industry would be beneficial however not essential.

This is an office-based position and will be expected to be in the office while you are working.
