Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team.
If you are highly numerate, efficient, and self-driven, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a small team, with a strong, collaborative approach to work. In this role you’ll support with ad hoc administrative duties as required as well as answer the phones and covering reception on occasion. We are, therefore, looking for a confident communicator with an appetite for self-improvement and learning. Finance Assistant Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, some of your duties will include:
- Managing weekly sales invoicing of credit accounts
- Resolving customer invoicing/account queries
- Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers
- Managing and updating system pricing details
- Providing financial analysis and reporting
- Checking and coding accounts payable invoices
- Managing reconciliation.
- Collating monthly payroll information
Finance Assistant Experience
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Professional who will be comfortable carrying out a range of tasks and functions to assist the Financial Controller and wider Finance team. It is vital that you are adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, and happy to work in a hands-on approach. You’ll have experience with Accounts Receivable/Sales Ledger or general Accounts and be confident using Excel (specifically VLOOKUP and pivot tables). We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and a can-do attitude. You will be embedded into a small team giving you the opportunity to get involved in ad hoc tasks outside of your day-to-day responsibilities.
