Temporary Payroll Manager
Do you have dedicated, end-to-end Payroll experience and are you looking for your next role within an established, international company? If so, we have an opportunity for you to join our client on a long-term temporary basis - this will be for an immediate start!
You will manage the payroll function for several hundred employees. This is an internal payroll - you will be required to make all calculations, working in a standalone, operational capacity.
The ability to calculate salaries, commission payments, and deductions as well as showing knowledge of internal controls and accounting principles will be critical.
This is a visible and detailed position; you must demonstrate both numerical proficiency and the soft skills needed to liaise with employees across the business. You must be superbly well organised and able to meet tight deadlines with efficiency and ease.
Please note! This is a full time temporary role, paid on a PAYE basis via the Allen Associates weekly payroll. It will NOT be possible to work as an interim, on a freelance or self employed basis.
Temporary Payroll Manager Responsibilities
As the Temporary Payroll Manager, your main duties will include:
- Running the monthly payroll for both UK and international staff
- Processing the payroll data in accordance with deadlines
- Delivering accurate payroll reports
- Reviewing and updating Sage 200 with correct information
- Managing the application of various benefits offered to employees
- Reconciling discrepancies
- Calculating all deductions, commissions, pensions.
Temporary Payroll Manager Experience
It is essential that you have previous Payroll experience, at a senior operational level. Experience with end-to-end payroll processing requirements via Sage 200 is key.
Appreciation of the required financial and legal compliance will be crucial for this meticulous employer.
You must be confident working to tight deadlines and able to remain calm when under pressure.
You will be numerically confident and a good user of MS Office, particularly Excel.
High attention to detail, strong communication skills and proof-reading ability will be the key to success in this position.
