HR Manager – Central Oxford and London City based offices – Salary up to £70k depending on experience – Ref: 20369
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join our client, a global economics and finance consultancy, on a permanent basis. As the HR Manager you will support the Head of HR in settling direction for the team, identifying priorities together and then implementing them appropriately through the team and other resources always aligning HR strategy with business goals.
As the HR Manager you will lead the small core HR team and will be responsible for delivering operational excellence to all their clients across all eight jurisdictions. For this reason previous multi-territory/ international HR experience is essential.
This role will require the successful applicant to occasionally work in the Oxford office alongside other HR team members, depending on the team requirements, and the remainder at home. There is also a London office.
HR Manager Responsibilities
As the HR Manager some of your duties will include:
- Managing ER casework
- Advising all employees, managers, and partners on HR issues
- Driving staff engagement
- Delivering HR policies and projects
- Working on organsiational reward scheme
- Supporting in delivering learning strategy
HR Manager Experience
To be successful in this role, it is imperative that you have demonstrable experience of working across a minimum of 3 international countries or territories. You can be Oxford or London based but must be able to attend the central Oxford office as two of the team members are in Oxford. You will have gravitas, credibility, and a strong HR knowledge to liaise with and offer guidance to stakeholders (Economists, Mathematicians) whilst remaining calm, professional and unphased! This role will cover complex ER casework and so an all-round generalist experience of dealing with these issues in a confidential manner is crucial. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in HR strategy and developing this so experience in this area is highly desirable. Finally, this role manages an HR team of 7 so you will have a strong background in people management with both a commercial and people focus.

This full-time role will require the successful applicant to work in the Oxford office alongside other team members and the rest at home.
There is potential to work 4 days a week in this role and if so the salary would be pro-rata.
