HR Assistant 

An extremely unique opportunity has arisen for you to step up your career in HR. You will be responsible for providing expert HR support and advice to both locations. The production team are based in Bicester and the back-office support are in Kirtlington and Europe.

Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely within a small HR team, your role will cover first line employee relations support, updating the internal HRIS Workday system, and coordinating training for example. You will build relationships with the team abroad in order to fully understand their HR requirements and support on policies and procedures, employment law, recruitment and general HR administration.

This is a varied and interesting role and a chance to gain exposure and experience across a breadth of HR related issues and projects.

HR Assistant Responsibilities

As the HR Assistant some of your duties will include:

  • Ensuring the HR and Payroll systems are both kept up to date
  • Providing advice to line managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and processes
  • Implementing procedure improvements and process efficiencies 
  • Producing regular payroll reports, liaising with the Finance department when necessary
  • Primary lead for HR project work 
  • General administrative support to the HR team 

HR Assistant Experience

The ideal candidate will be a minimum of CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent, with demonstrable experience in a HR or HR and Payroll position. It is essential that you are confident liaising with stakeholders and can advise on general HR queries as this is very much a generalist focused role and no two days are the same. This role would suit an individual who likes to get involved, learn as they go and be resourceful to get the job done. You can really make this role your own. 

Please note, due to the location, you must be able to drive.

Location

This role is 100% office based. Our client has sites in Bicester and Kirtlington so you must be able to drive and have a full driving licence and car.

There will be a requirement to travel abroad once a quarter and so please only apply if you are happy with this.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm and Fridays 8am to 3:30pm.
