Temporary PR Assistant Responsibilities

  • Collate all coverage generated by the team and put into the weekly trade reports
  • Help organise and support all the PR events press timelines
  • Create an editorial calendar of stories being pushed out to press to support the business
  • Work across departments to ensure PR is aligned with cross functional plans
  • Drive interest around our brand for local, destination stories
  • Help fine tune the details for 2022 and add thoughts for calendar events
  • Generate weekly brand/category specific stories to support retail priorities and categories
  • Assist the PR team with internal admin –hotel bookings, corporate expenses, travel etc.
  • Assist the team with media and influencer visits
  • Create a critical path and timelines for releases and necessary written collateral
  • Liaise with the core team to ensure all necessary information is fed to them and received back
  • Book train tickets and reservations for VIP press
  • Collate all assets for paid and editorial media partnerships

Temporary PR Assistant Requirements

You will be diligent, hardworking, and willing to go the extra mile. You must be an excellent communicator and comfortable with dealing with people at all levels. Our client has a vast company, and you will be liaising with some impressive contacts!

  • Strong marketing/PR background
  • Ability to use initiative, pre-empt requests, be proactive and think ahead
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to remain calm and unflappable and prioritise workload
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Office, social media and digital skills

The Location

Our client is based in North Oxfordshire. There is parking available at the office alongside excellent transport links. Please note this is a full-time, hybrid opportunity.
