Accounts Assistant and Payroll

We are seeking a Payroll and Accounts Assistant for this permanent job in the finance division of a truly lovely company, on a hybrid basis. Starting as soon as possible, this role will focus on the coordination and preparation of the monthly payroll, upkeep of all outstanding invoices, as well as being on hand to answer queries.

We are seeking a Payroll and Accounts Assistant for this permanent job in the finance division of a truly lovely company, on a hybrid basis. Starting as soon as possible, this role will focus on the coordination and preparation of the monthly payroll, upkeep of all outstanding invoices, as well as being on hand to answer queries.

Payroll and Accounts Assistant Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for the Payroll and Accounts Assistant include:

  • Coordinate and prepare monthly payroll for circa 250 staff across 15 offices
  • Assist with salary deductions/pensions/absences and other accounts administration
  • Raising and sending invoices, chasing payments and liaising with colleagues to ensure all is correct, up-to date and sent or received within agreed timeframes.

Payroll and Accounts Assistant Experience Essentials

It is essential you can demonstrate the following:

  • Professional accounts experience
  • AAT qualification (Level 3)
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills

Please do not apply if you do not have Level 3 AAT.

Payroll and Accounts Assistant Location

  • This job is based at the client’s beautiful offices in Chalgrove (OX44) for 3 days a week, and 2 from home.
  • There is parking available
