Senior In-House Bookkeeper Duties
As the Senior In-House Bookkeeper, your key responsibilities will include:
- Day to day bookkeeping for multiple assets
- Preparation of accounts and tax returns
- Review complex financial data and ensure correct recording of transactions
- Cross referencing bank statements and accounting records
- Compliance with tax requirements
- Invoicing, payroll and tax return enquiries as required
- Complete data entry
Senior In-House Bookkeeper Experience
To be successful in this position, you must be an experienced Bookkeeper and have a proven background within an SME, charity or not for profit environment. Ideally you will be AAT qualified and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper. This position requires someone who does not mind doing junior level tasks, including manual data entry. Over time, this position will oversee a team of junior Bookkeepers or finance staff, so excellent leadership and team management experience is required. You will be a highly organised, proactive, and committed candidate, who enjoys problem solving, working to tight deadlines and is a positive team player.

Senior In-House Bookkeeper Location
This role can be 100% remote, with the occasional visit to Oxford, or can work from their Oxford offices on a hybrid basis, to whatever suits you best.
