Joining the transactional finance team of 4 and reporting to the Supervisor, you will assist and support with accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and processes, including reporting and Payroll. Joining the transactional finance team of 4 and reporting to the Supervisor, you will assist and support with accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and processes, including reporting and Payroll. This would be the perfect opportunity for a part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA candidate who is looking to broaden their finance knowledge within a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.

 

Financial & Management Accountant Responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support with the planning, preparation and delivery of statutory reports as well as internal and external audits
  • Preparation of monthly payroll
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Delivery of month end processes
  • Bank reconciliations, balance sheet control and reporting

Financial & Management Accountant Experience

To be suitable for this opportunity, you will be a part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA candidate with previous and demonstrable experience in a transactional finance role, and experience preparing and processing payroll. With an energetic and passionate approach to finance tasks, you will have the ability to roll your sleeves up and be part of supporting a collaborative team. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to build relationships quickly. This fast paced, high workload environment requires someone organized and with an ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Highly numerate, and analytical, you will also possess excellent IT skills, especially Excel. Knowledge of Xero accounting software would be advantageous.

 

Location

This role will be based in the office in Harwell, 3 days a week and 2 days can be worked from home. There is free on-site parking available and close to public transport links. Please ensure you are within close commuting distance before you apply.
