Our client is looking for an Apprenticeship Manager, experienced working within the mid-high professional business apprenticeship level, to take on this exciting part-time opportunity and take ownership of the apprentice programmes, working in a close-knit and collaborative team. This is a superb position working on a mostly remote basis and playing a part in the success of our client's apprenticeship programme, specifically for the Level 5 Coaching Professional, that launched 18 months ago.

(NOTE this is NOT an early careers/ graduate apprenticeship management role. This is also not an opportunity as an apprentice)

You will report to the Managing Director and work alongside other administration/ support team members as the 'go to' person for all processes relating to the apprenticeship programme from enrolment to EPA including managing Ofsted inspections.

Our client is looking for an Apprenticeship Manager, experienced working within the mid-high professional business apprenticeship level, to take ownership of the apprentice programmes, working in a close-knit and collaborative team. This is a superb position working on a mostly remote basis and playing a part in the success of our client’s apprenticeship programme, specifically for the Level 5 Coaching Professional, that launched 20 months ago.

(NOTE this is NOT an early careers/ graduate apprenticeship management role. This is also not an opportunity as an apprentice)

Apprenticeship Manager Responsibilities

As the Apprenticeship Manager your key duties will include:

  • Managing quality assurance processes for apprenticeships
  • Indepth knowledge of ESFA audits and SARs
  • Becoming a lead in safeguarding and prevent
  • Managing all Ofsted processes
  • Establishing a network of training partners to share best practices
  • Coordinating apprenticeship journey through to EPA
  • Building and maintaining client relationships

Apprenticeship Manager Experience

Our client is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable project manager with strong communication and IT skills, someone self-motivated and able to work independently.

The successful candidate will have excellent understanding of the professional and higher education system recruitment cycles in the UK, working with experienced business professionals looking to develop their careers and skills further and engaging with clients to help maximise the use of their apprenticeship levy. 

It is critical that you will have indepth knowledge and demonstrable working experience of safeguarding and prevent, Ofsted (as a nominated person) and other internal and external quality assurance processes, ESFA audits and SARs. 

Business development experience with the apprentice space would be highly advantageous to help support the CEO as the apprenticeship programme continues to grow.

Apprenticeship Manager Rewards

Location

This is a fully remote role as the organisation switched to a virtual business this month, however they do have quarterly team meetings which will require a face-to-face presence. They are also considering finding a new physical space for working in the Oxford area but the role is predominately remote.

The ideal person must live within a 2-hour radius of Oxford as all team meetings are held in Oxford.

Clients are across the UK (not Wales or Scotland) and some travel may be required to attend client meetings.

The role is 22.5 Hours per week however the client will also consider 4 days a week or full-time for the right candidate.
