Senior HR Advisor - Maternity Cover Contract until October 2023

We have an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a proactive, detailed focused individual to join the HR team on a permanent basis. You’ll enjoy a varied role where you will be responsible for monitoring and taking a lead on several parts of the employee lifecycle.

Senior HR Advisor Responsibilities

The Senior HR Advisor’s role is varied and some of these duties will include:

  • Liaising with the HR Advisor or occupational specialists to provide support
  • Optimise performance of employees, facilitating appropriate interventions through the performance appraisal process
  • Supporting the TUPE process of new contracts and departing contracts to ensure compliance to TUPE legislation
  • Maintaining accurate records of due diligence.

Senior HR Advisor Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in a dedicated HR role, with an excellent understanding of HR policies and procedures. Knowledge of the payroll process is beneficial, along with a CIPD level 5 or level 7 (however this is not essential and our client is happy to provide sponsorship for this to develop the right person).  This is a generalist role and part of the wider HR team which consists of a HR Advisor and a HR Administrator. Due to the collaborative culture of the organisation, you will be a positive, team-player and have excellent communication skills.

Location

The office is based in Thame, Oxfordshire (OX9). The role is 100% office based.

The working pattern is 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a lunch break of one hour. 

Onsite parking is available.
