HR Manager Responsibilities:
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for;
- Line management of an HR Administrator
- Recruiting the best talent into the business
- Protecting, nurturing and enhancing the culture and core values of the business
- Ensuring best practice, procedures and policies are in line with business growth
- Development of the people plan
- Maximising employer brand
- Ad hoc projects as the role and business evolves

HR Manager Experience
This HR Manager position would suit someone with solid and demonstrable experience in a similar level HR Management role with previous experience of managing a small team within a fast-paced and growing SME. Commercially astute and business savvy, you will be familiar with latest trends, technology and legal requirements and best practice in relation to HR and people matters. You will be a strong communicator, able to build trusted relationships quickly and be positive, engaging, and motivational towards a wider team. An organised and professional team player, you will work with a high level of integrity and be a strong people person. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is required as a minimum, and experience working in an Engineering industry would be seen as a huge advantage. You should have previous experience of working within a dynamic and constantly evolving start-up environment within a hands-on operational HR management role, working in-house to guide, advise and drive the HR function forward in alignment with the business growth plans and be happy rolling your sleeves up and getting involved in the day-to-day transactional HR work.
Location
Our client is based in Bicester (OX26), and hybrid working is an option. There will be some travel across the UK and Ireland for quarterly team meetings and to build relationships with colleagues in other locations.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
