Events Account Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Events Agency in a varied and exciting role. Supporting the Account Manager, you will be responsible for the assistance and management of end-to-end events from taking the initial enquiry, to pitching, planning and delivering events. Working with clients across the UK, there will be opportunities for national and international travel. Events can range from roadshows and virtual conferences to corporate golf days, dealerships and incentive experiences.

Supporting the Account Manager, you will be responsible for the assistance and management of end-to-end events from taking the initial enquiry, to pitching, planning and delivering events. Working with clients across the UK, there will be opportunities for national and international travel. Events can range from roadshows and virtual conferences to corporate golf days, dealerships and incentive experiences.

Events Account Executive Responsibilities

As the Events Account Executive some of your duties will include:

  • Managing and developing the overall activities schedule, monitoring progress
  • Creating and managing budgets, assisting with achieving margins
  • Working with external creatives, warehouse managers, technical crews and third party suppliers
  • Ensuring documents and presentations are completed satisfactorily.
  • Ensuring the creation of event guides and event packing lists
  • Management, resolution and/or escalation of issues to senior management
  • Reporting on account status and performance

Events Account Executive Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Professional events knowledge and experience
  • Marketing knowledge
  • MS Office and administration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Confident, positive and a team player
  • It is essential you can drive and have access to a car


Location

Our client’s office is based in West Oxfordshire (OX13) with free parking. Core hours are 9am – 5.30pm, Monday-Friday, with an hour for lunch.
