Marketing Communications Executive Responsibilities
This is a varied role, including but not limited to:
- Creating content within different communications channels
- Supporting the Marketing Communications Manager with global campaigns
- Providing marketing communications advice
- Delivering the social media strategy
- Measuring performance of marketing content
- Working with internal stakeholders
- Supporting conferences and events

Marketing Communications Executive Experience
To be successful in this role you will have a formal marketing qualification, at degree level. It is vital that you have excellent communication skills and an eye for detail and the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines. You will be self-motivated, positive, and eager to learn. You will have experience of developing compelling written content for online and offline audiences, including intranet, website copy, marketing materials, blog-style posts, and social media as well as supporting on events. You will be confident providing communications advice and consultancy to colleagues and proactively working with internal stakeholders to generate engaging content, messaging frameworks and narratives, as well as ensuring the legal compliance of content. The ideal person for this role will be a marketing graduate, early on in their marketing career and passionate about writing and developing organisational narratives over time. You will be a team-player and able to work to project deadlines. You will be happy to attend training for continued professional development and be comfortable working with Scientists and Technology to create content for global campaigns. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to build relationships across varied client groups. You must have experience within the commercial, private sector and preferably global experience too.
Location
This is an office-based role in Abingdon with flexibility outside the core hours of 10am-4pm. Parking is available on-site. Please ensure you can comfortably do this commute. This role is full-time, permanent and requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.
Full right to work in the UK is required. The client does not have a sponsorship licence for this role.
