Working with the Joint Chief Executive Officer, responsible for operations, you will coordinate the administration of the HR function and be responsible for organizing training to develop staff and support wellbeing. Alongside this, you will take on PA responsibilities including coordinating Board and Committee meetings and taking minutes.

This is an incredibly exciting role working at the heart of one of Oxfordshire's treasured establishments.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This full-time role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary Office Manager Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the CEOs including preparation of documents and filing; organise travel arrangements and accommodation as required; diary management; managing invites and accurate minute keeping
  • Act as a central point for internal and external enquiries and responding to queries on behalf of CEOs, as appropriate
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Collate relevant paperwork when submitting payroll documents
  • Managing all HR Administration including keeping HR policy up-to-date and compliant with national legislation
  • Induct new staff into the company appraisal system and ensure all staff complete annual appraisals, promptly, returning all paperwork for review centrally, bringing any matters of concern to the attention of CEOs

Temporary Office Manager Experience

  • Previous experience in a busy office environment
  • Experience of recruiting, contracting and inducting staff (permanent, contractors and casuals)
  • Experience of organising training for staff and professional development plans for individuals
  • Confident, adaptable and an open-minded attitude
  • Excellent written, verbal and IT communication skills
  • Ability to work with tact and discretion and remain calm under pressure
  • Previous experience of minute taking and administration at Board level is desirable though not essential
  • A love of the arts!

Location

Our client is based in Oxford City Centre (OX1). Due to this location, there is no onsite parking, however it brilliantly situated for public transport links.

Working hours are up to 39 hours per week, however, 32 and above will be considered.
