Admin Assistant (Maternity Cover Contract)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an efficient and highly capable Administrator to join this busy and prestigious organisation. This role will involve liaising with colleagues, stakeholders, and external organisations as and when necessary, so requires someone who is proactive, has a friendly nature and possesses professionalism at all times.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an efficient and highly capable Administrator to join this busy and prestigious organisation. This role will involve liaising with colleagues, stakeholders, and external organisations as and when necessary, so requires someone who is proactive, has a friendly nature and possesses professionalism at all times.

This is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract, which may have the potential to extend.

Admin Assistant Responsibilities

As the Admin Assistant your main duties will include:

  • Processing admissions enquiries
  • Assisting with creation of admissions files
  • Assisting with transferring and management of files and records
  • Supporting with events
  • Producing e-letters
  • Supporting with other ad-hoc duties

Admin Assistant Experience

Ideally, you will have demonstrable experience as an articulate, organised and personable Administrator and experience within the education sector would be an added bonus. Excellent communication, time management and relationship building skills. A confident IT user, you will be proficient with MS Office, Google and be familiar with letter writing and ideally mail merges. Working in a small team, you will be good at managing different stakeholders’ expectations and be confident with your approach.

Based in Oxford, OX3, there is onsite parking available.

This is a fully office-based position, please ensure you are in reasonable commuting distance Oxford

The core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (flexible start/finish times are available, such as 9am-5pm).
