Temporary Procurement Administrator

Our wonderful client, based in South Oxfordshire are looking for a Temporary Procurement Administrator. You will be part of a small, social and busy team assisting with a variety of clerical tasks, in particular the overseeing of the supply chain and distribution process. Attention to detail, a passion for teamworking and being a presence on site, will be critical!

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. The role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

This is also a full-time role based on site in OX14, so you must be immediately available to work in the office, 37.5 hours per week.

Temporary Procurement Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, inventory, and purchase order processing
  • Create and run reports using Excel
  • Raise purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Take receipt of products and allocate stock to orders efficiently
  • Maintain product files on the ERP system
  • Action customer stock returns, in a timely manner
  • Regular liaison with suppliers, the distribution centre and internal teams
  • Provide exceptional customer service to key departments

Temporary Procurement Administrator Experience Essentials

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain monitoring
  • Accurate and fast data entry skills
  • Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience of using Sage would be beneficial
  • Previous experience working in a supply chain environment would be an advantage
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Experience of a customer focused environment and able to manage customer expectations
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and be flexible and adaptable around handling workloads

Our client’s head office is based in Abingdon (OX14) with onsite parking.
