Temporary Programme Officer

Do you have experience working in a university, a school or with young people? Are you looking to join a world-renowned educational establishment, in an interesting assignment?

Starting immediately, you will be joining a fast paced, dynamic and lovely team! You'll be overseeing and assisting with their latest exciting project which supports global talent.

You will support a vital programme of work and be required to attend the office several times per week, so please only apply if you are willing to do this.

If offered the role, you must be happy for the client to undertake an enhanced DBS check on your behalf.

It is vital for this position that you are available on Saturday/Sundays throughout May and June.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis.

Temporary Programme Officer Responsibilities

  • Responding to student queries at speed and with accuracy
  • Verifying their identity and personal documentation
  • Background checks
  • Chasing paperwork
  • Setting up team members with systems access
  • Arranging Zoom schedules for hundreds of candidates
  • Checking data and information for errors
  • Shortlisting suitable applications
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required by the team

Temporary Programme Officer Experience

  • Experience in a university, a school or working with young people is really important
  • Experience in administration, events, project or programme management would be extremely beneficial
  • Experience in an educational or academic setting would be beneficial but not essential
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Location

Our client is based in Oxford City Centre (OX1), this means there is no parking available onsite, however, it is very well situated to public transport links.

The standard hours are 9.00am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday, but as mentioned above, you will be needed for some weekend support at events. Please note you will get this time back in lieu.
