You’ve been looking for a job for a while.

You’ve registered with countless job sites, which pepper you with emails containing roles you didn’t even register for. You’ve scoured LinkedIn, and end up completely overwhelmed, (and occasionally down a rabbit’s warren of connections). You’ve done website searches. You’ve even scoured the local papers and magazines, in the hope that somebody somewhere still values those traditional methods.

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with any of these. In fact, you should be doing them, as increased visibility means an increased chance of success.

When it comes down to it though, you need a professional on your side. Someone who can take the time to get to know you, and recommend the roles for you, based on your skills and experience.

The interview

Though it sounds scary, this really isn’t. At Allen Associates, we meet with each and every candidate who registers with us, for two reasons. The first, obvious though it sounds, is to get to know you. It benefits everyone if we put in the groundwork  to find out what motivates you (and what doesn’t). The secondary reason is; you get interview experience; something it’s always crucial to have in your armoury when looking for that perfect role.

These interviews happen with our Temporary workers, as well as those in the Permanent sector. Gone are the days when Temporary workers came and went in the blink of an eye. Now, our workers in this sector are fulfilling major roles across all the specialisms we recruit for; catering to the needs of a changing workforce and broadening their skill sets at the same time.

Our relationships with clients

A good Recruiter recognises how important trust is between all parties, and as a result of that, Clients and Candidates will be willing to endorse them.
