Event details
The Employment Rights Act 2025 is now law and is being described as the most significant update to workers’ rights in a generation.
With major reforms being implemented across 2026 and 2027, employers face wide-ranging changes, including trade union reforms, updates to dismissal regulation, new restrictions on contract variations, extensions to collective redundancy rules and penalties, and a reduction in the unfair dismissal qualifying period to six months, alongside the removal of the compensation cap.
The Employment and Immigration team at RWK Goodman will provide a clear and practical update on what these changes mean for businesses, along with insight into other recent legal developments.
The session will include:
- Key changes coming with the Employment Rights Act 2025
- An immigration update
- Recent case law developments
You can expect a focused and practical session designed to help employers understand their obligations, assess risk, and prepare confidently for the changes ahead.
