Event Details
The Employment Rights Act 2025 is set to introduce some of the most significant changes to employment law in a generation, with reforms being implemented throughout 2026 and into 2027.
Join Allen Associates and RWK Goodman for a practical and interactive HR Hub breakfast designed specifically for HR Directors, Heads of HR and senior HR professionals.
This session will focus on the steps employers can take now to prepare for the changes ahead, whilst providing an opportunity to discuss challenges, share experiences and benchmark approaches with fellow HR leaders from across Oxfordshire.
Topics will include:
- Managing probationary periods in light of changes to unfair dismissal rights
- Considerations around negotiated exits following the removal of the unfair dismissal compensation cap
- Preparing for increased trade union access and recognition requests
- Reviewing and updating family-friendly policies
- Understanding "all reasonable steps" and reducing liability for third-party harassment claims
