One third of the employers, people managers and HR professionals who attended Allen Associates Zoom HR Hub in May 2022 said that "a lack of cut-through on recruitment" was keeping them awake at night. Guest speaker, John Tarrant of DNA, discussed the importance of establishing a coherent employee value proposition (EVP) and employer brand and how, when done well, these make a measurable difference to attraction and retention. A group of 45 HR professionals, people managers and employers, mainly from Oxfordshire-based organisations, took part in a short poll at our Zoom HR Hub, as part of wider discussions on making the business case for developing a distinct, authentic and compelling employee value proposition (EVP) and employer brand.
