This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced HR professional to join a local business in a Temporary HR Advisor capacity, on an immediate basis.

Please note, this is a full-time, temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis and will require a speedy start; notice periods cannot be accommodated.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced HR professional to join a local business in a Temporary HR Advisor capacity, on an immediate basis.

Temporary HR Advisor Responsibilities

  • Managing payroll entry and contractual changes to ensure accurate compensation and documentation.
  • Administering Cascade and updating employee records efficiently.
  • Handling sickness and family leave casework with sensitivity and accuracy.
  • Coordinating health referrals and checks to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Managing the HR inbox, responding to queries, and resolving HR-related issues independently.
  • Supporting right-to-work and visa administration processes.
  • Prioritising tasks effectively in a busy environment, without close supervision.

Temporary HR Advisor Rewards

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday,.
  • Competitive hourly rate.

Temporary HR Advisor Experience Essentials

  • Proven experience working as an HR generalist, managing multiple HR processes.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and contract administration.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and care.
  • Familiarity with occupational health referrals and DBS procedures.
  • Confident in using HR software (Cascade) and MS Office tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise autonomously.

This position will be based in East Oxford.
