Team Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a globally successful organisation. Reporting to the People Director, the Team Assistant will be responsible for supporting the People (HR) Team to achieve it's operational and strategic objectives.

Team Assistant Responsibilities

This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with the People Director and People Business Partners to support and deliver key strategic projects
  • Manage and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring regular reviews, tracking progress, and meeting defined success criteria.
  • Coordinate and organise large-scale training sessions, workshops, and departmental meetings to support ongoing People initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the People team, including capturing actions, tracking deadlines, and supporting with recruitment and personnel data reporting.
  • Assist the People Director with diary management, and cross-functional coordination with other senior PAs across the business.
  • Handle highly confidential information in accordance with company policies and GDPR regulations.

This role is working 40 hours a week, 9am - 6pm.

Team Assistant Requirements

  • Proven experience providing high-level administrative support within a large team or complex organisation.
  • Exceptionally organised and detail-oriented, with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Skilled in diary management, meeting coordination, project support, and confident using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and database systems.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and discreet, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
  • Self-sufficient and proactive.
  • HR knowledge or experience is an advantage.

Location

Our client is located in North Oxfordshire. There is onsite parking and many public transport links. Hybrid-working is available with a requirement to be onsite 2 days per week.
