Are you an experienced events professional looking to lead the planning and delivery of a diverse events programme in a dynamic organisation? Events Manager Responsibilities

This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Managing operational planning and delivery of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events to a high standard.
  • Coordinating logistics, liaising with speakers, venues, suppliers, and delegates to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Overseeing delegate registration, CRM administration, and post-event reporting to improve process efficiency.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of event systems and providing operational insights for enhanced delivery.
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders, including acting as secretariat for the Programme Committee.
  • Mentoring and line managing the Events Coordinator to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensuring all event activities comply with budget and operational guidelines.

Events Manager Rewards

  • Salary of £36,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.
  • 25 days annual leave plus a TOIL system for extra hours.
  • Flexible working hours of 35 hours per week across 4 or 5 days.
  • Hybrid working with two days on-site, every Monday and Wednesday in Eynsham, Witney.
  • Opportunities for travel to event locations.

Events Manager Experience Essentials

  • Proven experience in managing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Strong events organisational and logistical skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, venue sourcing, and budget oversight.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and event management software.
  • Line management experience, ideally supporting and mentoring team members.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and handle operational logistics effectively.
  • Corporate experience is essential

Location

Based near Witney, this hybrid role offers a flexible working pattern with two days per week on-site. The location is accessible by public transport and car parking is available.
