Welcome to Allen Associates HR Hub – an informal, friendly community of HR professionals, employers and people managers who are keen to learn, share and collaborate.

What’s it all about?

Our HR Hubs centre on a busy programme of free events which we have been running for almost 10 years. Founded and organised by our Managing Director Kate Allen, these events are run in partnership with employment specialists at UK Top 100 law firm, Royds Withy King.

In 2020, our HR Hubs moved online and continue to take place monthly via Zoom. If anything, this has increased their popularity and we are always delighted to see such a great turnout.

In addition to featuring regular Employment Law Updates, our HR Hubs offer insights and practical, thought-provoking tips on a wide range of hot topics and issues, delivered by guest speakers who are all experts in their fields.

Kate founded Allen Associates in 1998 with the aim of creating the type of recruitment agency that she would like to use herself – as a Client and a Candidate. For more than two decades, Kate’s commitment to providing an outstanding service and added value has never wavered, enabling her to build a robust business and an enviable reputation in her home county of Oxfordshire and more recently in London. Kate is an Associate member of the CIPD and a Fellow of the REC.

Our Events

Every month, we run at least one Zoom HR Hub – more, if the topic is particularly sought-after. These online events are free to attend and typically last for an hour-and-a-half.

Latest Event

Our next HR Hub event is an ‘Employment Law Update’ which is taking place on 8th and 22nd October. We will hear about recent court rulings and their implications for employers as well as forthcoming changes to the law and how to prepare for them. This will be followed by a Q&A session.
